Saga of The Dead Timeline

1. S14 virus was created as a bioweapon at the request of the government and the department of defense.
2. An underground complex was built to test and make further investigation on the S14 virus.
3. The S15 virus is created from the S14 Virus, with the goal of being a mood control virus.
4. Private Peter Jackson, who volunteered in the project as a guard to evade service in the war on Afghanistan, went into the zombies' cell within the facility, was bit by one of the zombies and he hides the truth from the other staff.
5. Underground complex is overrun by the zombies, and the remaining security staff, due to their understaffed and undereducated nature, quickly fall apart.
6. In a failed attempt to escape the complex, the research personnel accidentally let the S14 zombies escape the complex.
7. Evans City is slowly overrun by the undead, reanimated by the S14 virus.
8. Police and medical authorities try to maintain control of the city, but fail due to their lack of knowledge about the infected.
9. The governor of Pennsylvania declares a state of emergency and sends the National Guard to prevent the zombies from spreading any further.
10. Military checkpoints are set up to make sure no one enters/exits the city.
11. National Guard checkpoints are setup across Pennsylvania.
12. Nationwide outbreak starts, and it is presumed that the federal government declared a state of emergency. (According to Sherman's dialogue at the end of Road of the Dead)
13. Diane Roseworth's Humvee crashes and her squad (The Kilo-5 patrol unit) is killed, and same goes for other abandoned troops.
14. Cocheta Solomon rescues Diane Roseworth from certain death.
15. Helicopters from airborne units start evacuating civilians and military personnel to the North. (Transport 1)
16. General Sherman calls for air support to take down John Creasman, this includes attack helicopters (Hellfire) and Jets. [Hellfire also helps Diane and Cocheta in their fight across the destroyed Evans City]
17. John Creasman makes a successful escape attempt from Evans City. However, unexpectedly knocks down fences which protects troops and civilians from infected threats and indirectly contributes to Evans City’s fall (Simultaneously)
18. Cocheta and Diane are rescued by General Sherman's airborne personnel. (Simultaneously)
19. Evans city is bombed. (Simultaneously)
20. Almost all ground personnel and most of the undead are killed by the nuke.
21. The remaining undead retake, the city and overrun the remaining military checkpoints.
22. Diane, Cocheta, Sherman and the helicopter squad flee to an unknown location to the north where Transport 1 is waiting.

Trivia

• At an overlapping point between John Creasman's escape attempt and Cocheta and Diane's rescue, Hellfire is dispatched to simultaneously combat John Creasman and intermittently aid Cocheta and Diane.
• According to how PASGT helmets, John's Mustang, and other various elements are used, it is assumed that the Saga of the Dead takes place somewhere in the 2011~2018.
• In the last cinematic, Sherman says that the government controlled the press to avoid civilians, knowing about the nation and (probably) worldwide epidemic.
