Corpses

After the failed containment of the epidemic, most of Evans City's population has perished, either from the infected undead, military interventions or even suicide and panicked vehicular homicide.

Littering the streets are many corpses or what's left of them after being devoured by the undead. Running over these corpses will temporarily slow your vehicle down.
